It’s not the chickens it’s me who has a problem with Nathan’s. They give me horrible heartburn and keep me up all night. It’s something in their spices is my guess.
Thanks for explaining the meat and milk rule.
Thanks for the info. I'll give it a try the next time I have reheat pizza...
You can get gluten-free bread, but I have no problem with gluten and won’t eat that either. I buy bread made entirely of seeds, not wheat bread with seeds in it. BFree Seed Bread at NaturalGrocer and perhaps other health stores. Pricey but worth it.
I only eat twice a day, have poached eggs on BFree avocado toast. Avocados are the “good” fat, and delish.
Why twice a day? Never get hungry enough to eat 3x. Weigh 115.
It happened to me a long time ago...early-mid-80’s(when living in California). It’s a good thing I didn’t have plans to fly home (Michigan) for Christmas...that would have been a nightmare. I didn’t eat another pizza for 10+ years after that experience.
“TBH a covered frying pan on low slightly oiled does the best job. It takes about 20 minutes

Really low... as low as your stove can go
Some low settings are not that “melt” low.
I learned that from a Navy cook.
Pizza Hut is very inconsistent from place to place. The one that used to be near me made a good pizza - we used to get it a lot. Then they went out of business and opened a new store in the next town (actually not far from my house). Pizza there is terrible and we no longer get PH.
Don’t know why that is - pizza is not all that complex.
Because they have lousy pizza?
Well, now that I’ve read the whole post, I’m going to have to order one of their nasty pizzas as a show of solidarity. But not right away.
Awesome tip. Being a newbie I had to play around with heat selection. Medium low heat on my electric stove rejuvenated the pizza to near door delivery quality..
It’s the wheat that gives people the horrible heartburn
Nathan’s puts wheat in their hot dogs? That just seems another reason to avoid them.
