I went to New Orleans in June 2020 and woke up in my hotel room in a stupor with a fake vax card filled out for me. Not sure how I got it. Guessing a bartender gave me one so I could come inside. There was a curfew of I think midnight at the time too but plenty of bars stayed open well past that time. They closed the doors but you could hear it from the street and seemed to let anyone in. They let me in. Cops didn’t care. Fake vax card sure came in handy when I returned home to New York City.
I didn’t get Covid until over a year later and it was super mild. Had worse colds. All the vaccinated people at work got it around the same time as me. I haven’t had it since but most of the vaccinated people I know have now had it three or four times. What a joke.
Your “vax card” sounds like becoming a “member” at a “members-only bar” in a dry county in Texas.
Me: Can I get Crown on the rocks?
Bartender: Are you a member?
Me: Of what?
Bartender: This bar?
Me: [Staring at him with an inquisitive look of stupidity on my face]
Bartender: [Slides me a pen, form, and Crown on the rocks]
Me: YES! [Filling out said form]
A cop at the end of the bar watching and listening...just turned and walked away. LOL!
