Abbott can set up a perimeter where no one who is armed is allowed to cross. A few hundred armed militia should suffice. Call it texas home land security, checking for and confiscating all assault weapons.
I would not be surprised if thousands of volunteers happily show up.
Joe can call all the F-15s he wants, but I am optimistic that no USA pilot will bomb or strafe US citizens. Even from today’s USAF.
