iirc secession at the state level was never judicially adjudicated. the feds decided that they were wrong, and then refused to leave state land. a state citizen fired the first shot of that war. true, it did not end well for the states that seceded, but johnson was never tried for treason, even after the war. his so-called treason? ...never judicially adjudicated.

I have a feeling President Kamala Harris (like the thankfully thwarted Hillary ) would act in that feminist style of dictatorship that many women bosses use. In order to stave off criticism of not being as strong and tough as a man would be, they are hyper macho and mean which is how they perceive males are.
Thus, Harris could use nuclear war brinksmanship in every encounter. Like North Korea and Iran act to us.
