All the larger Mercedes eat tires, pads and rotors. Especially if you have the active lane keeping on.
Which models? I’ve driven Mercedes SUVs for years and had no problems. NONE.
The rotors on Mercedes are a softer metal than we in North America are used to, and they wear out at an amazing rate. My little car (B170) needed new pads and rotors at 30K miles, and the tires were at the point I decided to replace them with winter tires in October.
I do live in the mountains so there is that factor, but still only 30K miles is pretty fast wear.
Kid has the Tesla SUV and gets about 7500 miles out of a set of expensive Michelin tires. Been that way for six years she has had it and it seems to be the low center of gravity coupled with the weight. In all season they run about 350 per tire.
