As the work-from-home trend took off during the COVID-19 pandemic, the term “quiet quitting” entered the contemporary lexicon.
According to the Harvard Business Review, “Quiet quitters continue to fulfill their primary responsibilities, but they’re less willing to engage in activities known as citizenship behaviors: no more staying late, showing up early, or attending non-mandatory meetings.” Simply put, having perceived their jobs to not have value and meaning, they do no more than absolutely necessary.
There is debate among scholars as to the extent of the quiet quitting phenomenon, but there is increasing evidence that white Americans are increasingly quiet quitting America’s leading institutions. And the possible implications of that for American society are profound.
This phenomenon is a consequence of the trends I write about in my forthcoming book, The Unprotected Class, about the rise of anti-white racism in American culture and how both formal and informal anti-white discrimination have become a factor in almost every area of American public life.
Little surprise then, that more and more young whites, especially young white men, are looking at the overall environment and saying, “Thanks, but no thanks,” to our leading institutions. Last week, the armed forces announced that the number of white recruits had fallen precipitously over the last five years.
According to a report at Military.com, most of the Army’s much-discussed incoming recruiting shortfall is due largely to this dramatic decline. While a bit more than 44,000 white Americans signed up to join the army in 2018, that number cratered to just over 25,000 by 2023—a stunning drop in a short period of time when black and Hispanic recruiting was largely flat. As a result, white recruits went from 56.4% of soldiers in 2018 to 44% in 2023.

Quiting Brandons military is good.
Same here. I'm already living in the Gulch ... and my need for "the system" if far less than it once was.
I’m retired and live on my farm out in the boondocks, the only things I need from the outside right now are fuel for my tractor and trucks and electricity from our local utility (we generate our own from a dam).
I am hoping to end the electric dependency shortly with micro-hydro on my own creek.
Then just have to figure if I can distill bio-diesel diesel from acorns.
No one on earth wants to live in a non white world. Where are the hordes of whites risking life and limb to get to Somalia or Ecuador?
Bfl
.
Excellent point
More gaslighting that white are not enlisting into the military so the military needs illegal aliens.
Total BS.
The military is not processing white people into the military. They drag their feet. A few technical career fields enlist whites quickly, but infantry and other jobs do not. They process foreigners instantly, but not whites.
The elites need foreigners to do their bidding against Americans. It is coming this year. They’ll be ready by June.
Long march through the institutions
Their intent is to use that control to transform society, and we're not going to let it happen.
If you are white, Christian, conservative, heterosexual and male, you do not have victim status and might as well cut down your commitment to work.
This “White American” refuses to do the ghost dance for the liberal elites.
I just voted in the primary at my son’s former high school (He graduated in 2011). Looking at what was supposed to be a place of education, I saw the vacant stares of the indoctrinated.
You liberal elites can toast each other and live your imaginary lives without me!
Working hard and being smart will not lead you to success.
It will lead you to being exploited. All that does is cover for slackers. Do what is required, but. do. not. do. more.
Whites aren't "quiet quitting" per se, they are offering their services to other sectors of the economy.
If the tyranny of the minority doesn't want white workers, then white workers will create their own economy and let the haters have to deal with what's left behind on their own.

That is good counsel if you are working for bad bosses, especially bad bosses at bad corporations; Georgia-Pacific comes to mind but there are plenty of others just as bad.
Better counsel is to stop working altogether at a bad company that has told you they plan to exploit you.
Doing minimal is not good counsel if you are working for a good company that is doing right. It is especially not good counsel if you have your own small business.
And always go above and beyond to take care of your customers if you plan to grow your business.
And the first thing to do if you want to grow your business is to care enough to answer the telephone when a customer calls.
They found you?
Not yet, thankfully. Most city slickers wouldn't be drawn to small town America, they're just moving the suburbs away from the cities.
Active protest is a crime. So we drop out?
