What am I missing? From your link it looks like DeSantis’s campaign has spent just $5M so far in all the early states combined. (SuperPACs backing him have spent more.)
In the NH market, from what I’ve seen, Nikki is all over the airwaves, but DeSantis isn’t.
Two points:
—The SuperPac was most of DeSantis spending—it counts—it is real money he could have used elsewhere. The total is over $50 M.
—Great question on the over the air spending. I think the Federal Election Commission and the Justice Department are going to be pawing over the DeSantis campaign and SuperPac files. It is a real mess.
