The prospect of a Donald Trump return to the White House in 2024 poses a “fundamental” challenge to Europe, the leader of the world’s largest investment company warned Tuesday.
The Daily Telegraph reports BlackRock vice chairman Philipp Hildebrand issued his caution from the sidelines of the World Economic Forum (WEF) in Davos, Switzerland.
In doing so he added his voice to the swelling chorus from Europe that fears a Trump return to the world stage.
The veteran Swiss banker said the re-election of the former U.S. president “would challenge Europe fundamentally” given Trump’s determination to embrace America First in matters from trade to diplomacy, NATO funding, and climate policy.
Hildebrand, a member of the firm’s Global Executive Committee, was responding to recent comments by Christine Lagarde, the head of the European Central Bank (ECB), who said Trump posed a “clear threat” to Europe because his divergent views set him apart from the European mainstream, the report sets out.
Lagarde last week warned history showed Trump’s “manner in which he carried out the first four years of his mandate… is clearly a threat.”

Another reason to vote for Trump
Trump should use some of his wealth to start dismantling Blackrock holdings. Since Blackrock has so much, it is easy to undermine them one business holding at a time.
I want every elected Republican in the US to know that if they EVER attend a WEF meeting, it is effectively a renunciation of their American loyalty, on par with attending a Socialist International congress.
While the latter organization embraces the slavery of socialism, the WEF is just as bad, embracing what amounts to the slavery of royalism. In either case, though they call themselves “democratic-socialists” or “democratic corporatists”, they are both adamantly opposed to republican-democracy, freedom and liberty.
In the Republican party, such internationalist corporatists are pretty synonymous with RINOs and Country Club Republicans. Again, it is effectively a renunciation of their American loyalty.
They’re really trying to provoke an incident against Trump.
As though that is a bad thing…It can be said that the WEF and Europe have divergent views that set them apart from the American mainstream….
There are so many forces against Trump for simply putting America first, which is what all U.S. presidents should be doing. It’s no surprise they’re trying to eliminate him through indictments.

So, in Hildebrand’s Socialist/Marxist mind, the President of the United States should put Europe First and America Second. Blackrock needs to be broken up.
.
Yet none of them complain ever about China first. They do not complain about Europe making rules against US social media companies because they do not like free speech.
Hope Trump has good bodyguards.
Blackrock only cares about making money. They care about the European power structure, not the people.
Doesn’t stop them from coming for him, especially since they have resources and are outside US law.
> Christine Lagarde is worried the US won't roll over and protect their sorry asses for free forever. What ingrates.
at the least the masks have fallen from the EU elites: they don’t particularly detest Trump ideologically, but they do FEAR him ... and that’s a GOOD thing when your enemies and fake-friends fear the leadership of your country ...
It’s time for Europe to start doing their own laundry and move out of their parents’ basement.
Your MARXIST Global agenda MUST be Fundamentally Challenged!!!!
Europe has tariffs are almost anything NOT made in the EU.
My wife and I have been watching various shows about houses/apartments in Italy the last year. The thing you notice is that the cars are all Fiats and the occasional VW. Rich people drive BMWs and Mercedes. There are NO KIAs, Toyotas, Nissans, Mazdas, Fords, Chevys, etc.
There are also no GE, Frididare, Whirlpool, etc appliances.
Now, this may be due to the size of American appliances and the voltage they run on. IF they have a decent sized fridge it is a SMEG made in northern Italy.
I believe Governor Kemp of GA is there now.
I also believe it is not his first trip
