WINS 98 of 99 COUNTIES!
People who know and study American history, were still abundant when Rush Limbaugh ventured onto the national stage - following a bow wave created by Ronald Reagan. Americans still traveled to historical sites.
Despite some popular observations about young people and the current “anti-study” of American History, I am occasionally surprised when I meet a young person who is interested . . . because he or she is aware of NOT being taught American History and finds that they want to know a lot more.
On the other hand, I did meet a gal, born in the midwest and maybe 35 years old, who had never heard of the Civil War. She was a teen during the early G. W. Bush Admin., when American History had already been heading over the cliff - in high schools.
Yet Rush sure did attract young people who learned what was not on, or sufficiently reported in, the evening TV news.
I think that too many Republicans in the public eye, do not sufficiently know, and are unable to support [with], American History - in their speaking.
Rush Limbaugh’s father sure had the talent. Ronald Reagan did.
My point is, you have to be a teacher who knows American History, and, who loves your students - as a conservative radio showman.
In order to gain ground.

Our own LS reaches many of the younger generation with his American History homeschool lectures and lessons.
James Woods is also doing good work tweeting, daily (?) about the American Revolution/history. Hopefully, younger folks are seeing his tweets.

American History should be the first reform in public school education.

I have talked about this before after working for nearly 25 years in the Middle School level of education.
Our history teachers rejected the new books offered and used their old ones till they wore out.
This was over 10 years ago, and things were going south rapidly them.
