The right-wing Swedish government is looking at strengthening the use of physical cash for the future.

What’s going on, is this really happening?
Sweden is suddenly doing one good thing after another. Recently they scrapped Agenda 2030 goals from government directives and they also scrapped climate taxes on fuel.
Now the new right-wing government is wanting to strengthen the use of physical cash, something that goes against the cashless agenda.
The government is appointing an investigator to come up with ideas to support peoples right to pay with physical cash. This could be because some people simply don’t want a cashless society, but also to ensure that payments can be done in emergency and crisis situations.
“Basically this is about not being excluded from being able to pay” said Niklas Wykman, Minister for Financial Markets.
In other words, the Swedish government is looking at FORCING shops to accept cash. This goes against the whole cashless agenda that we have been seeing lately.

When I have cash to pay a credit card payment at the bank, they ask for my ID.
I asked WHY and I didn’t get an answer except it is policy.

I had a dear friend, who recently passed, that I tried to get on FR for years.
He was a die hard Trump supporter and was constantly getting himself in trouble on FB.
Told him to switch to FR and be with like-minded people.
About a week before he died, he asked me to find FR on his phone because he wanted to donate to keep it running and he planned to sign up.
He never told me his FR name so I don’t think he ever did get around to it as life got in the way.😢
Thank goodness there are a few SANE folks, over in the EU.

Chicago Organized Retail Burglary Ring Allegedly Led by Newly Arrived Illegal Aliens

The Chicago suburb of Oak Brook has been beset with an increase in retail theft and burglaries over the last year, and police say the leading culprits have been recently arrived illegal border crossers who have filtered out to the suburb from Chicago.
The Oak Brook Police Department reports that 47 recently arrived illegal aliens have been arrested in connection with retail thefts and home and car burglaries just since October and more than 175 since last year, according to Newsbreak. Officials of the suburb — which is only about 25 minutes west of downtown Chicago and only minutes south of O’Hare International Airport where hundreds of illegals have been sheltering for months — noted that the thieves often use bags lined with sheets of tinfoil in an attempt to thwart store anti-theft protection devices at entrances, the New York Post reported.
The issue has been ongoing in the suburb, especially inside the Oak Brook shopping mall.
As far back as 2021 the Oak Brook Police Department reported a gang of about 14 individuals entering stores and stealing all they could carry.
