I would have a factual and educational response to that. And I would have my resume out quickly there after. I would highlight the actual crime data of who’s doing the actual killing and a series of solutions to reduce it.
Before I retired my resume was seldom more than a month out of date...
I think I would be more proactive than that if I were planing such an action.
It would be best to have had the resume out for several weeks in advance and to have accepted an offer before this presentation
Even so, it is likely that word of this exploit may make it to your new employer and such an offer would be rescinded.
