Hey Neighbor!
I am hunkered down in my motel room for a final night of MAGA FRiendship. Primitive camping and then backpacking/hiking are in my immediate future. Near Wickenburg for starters, so weather will not be an issue.
A train ride with a room wouldn’t be a bad way to travel across the country.
I took a round trip to DC, to Bush’s 2000 Inauguration, but did not get a room.
I took 3 round trips from IL to CA, in the spring of 2012, as I began my rookie hiking season, but did not get a room.
Never again... I would travel by rail, but only by getting a room.
One can also get a rail pass for better options with a room added to the trip.
Guessing... a long distance round trip- $300-$400. With a room (add $1,500) that will include meals at about $25-$35 a serving. Duration of 24-48 hours depending on circumstances, route, issues, etc.
AMTRAK services Flagstaff. ;0)
Thanks for the info about riding the train.
Loved train rides when I was a young girl going to see family in another state.
You be very careful out there backpacking, so many nasty things you can run into these days.
Are you watching RAV?
John Fredericks, who has his own Rally bus in IA, is filling in for Bannon.
John said his bus was a toasty 50° this morning during his show, wonder what it is now.
Our Kari is on speaking with John now.
She is an Iowa native and feels that the weather will not stop folks from caucusing for Trump.
