How is the Navy or Special Operations command supposed to know what happened if there was no coms ?
Or they had them in visual, and just watched them drown ?
I think it’s more likely to be something like the “Buster” Crabb incident. Which is still not entirely resolved.

There is a ratio for individual radio beacons. Every vest or PFD has a flashing strobe. NONE of these are to be used for just one person. They are locked in the repair lockers for when ‘abandon ship” is called.
