If Texas leaves, all the southern and Midwest states will join to be part of the New Republic of Texas.
The Rats states will be on their own, to eventually be conquered by the NRT.
So let it be written. So let it be done.
The Biden Gang will let that happen before submitting to the rule of law
That is the only fix for America. We are broken beyond repair.
Pray for TPTB in Texas, that God will keep them strong; pray for Texas. This could be a critical event in our future.
I’m surprised that no TN people are headed that way to help out. We’re not called “The Volunteer State” for nothing. An interesting and rich history in that regard.

It took a Constitutional amendment to allow that to happen, and it would have been over the dead bodies of the Founders to have ever LET it happen.
There is no way in hell that the original colonies wanted to have the new general government reach into the States and shake down the citizenry.
Indeed. I’d actually never thought that the possibility of an armed conflict between a state and the fed could/would happen, but this country has had enough of this damned government and some pretty drastic steps are being undertaken.
My guess is the Fed is gonna think long and hard about how bad Biden needs Texas in the election. There are also several states who are gonna watch this situation develop and be a liability for that ass, too.

That is the obvious next thing.
The Wilson Amendments-16th, 17th, & 19th, sealed the doom of the Republic in the boiled frog method.
But of course they were done with the utmost of compassion for Democracy.
Or something.
The governor in Texas is really just a figurehead. The Lt. Gov. has the most power and of course the state AG has a lot of power as well. I’d be surprised if this is actually Abbott’s call. He’s just going the way the wind blows, unfortunately.
