CHICAGO — A suburban Christian school teacher has been jailed after prosecutors accused him of using the gay dating app Grindr to target a suburban man for a violent home invasion. Chicago police believe Antoine Perteet is responsible for similar crimes in the city, and Cook County prosecutors charged him with one of those last week.
The city case occurred in the 1900 block of West Morse late on June 28, according to CPD records. He’s charged with armed robbery with a firearm and aggravated unlawful restraint.
But we have more details about the suburban case. There, Perteet, 33, is charged with home invasion, kidnapping, possessing a stolen firearm, and unlawful use of a weapon by a felon in connection with a Grindr date that went bad in Cicero on October 8.
During a recent detention hearing, prosecutor Matthew Larkin told Judge Susana Ortiz that Perteet connected with the victim on and before the date of the attack via a dating application, which our source identified as Grindr. During those conversations, the victim provided his home address so they could meet, Larkin said.
On the day of the home invasion, the victim was walking his dog in front of his Cicero home when Perteet and another person arrived in Perteet’s car, Larkin said, according to a transcript of the detention hearing.
Perteet allegedly raised his shirt to expose a handgun and led the victim inside. He forced the man to lie face down in the bedroom as the second person entered the apartment, Larkin continued. The pair forced the victim to unlock his phone and bank accounts.

There are some dangerous people trying to meet on these apps.
I have heard that if you really want to meet people that way, you should always meet in public places, and tell someone where you’re going.
I know the homosexual angle is a piece of this story. But being careful is something everyone should think about.

There isn’t any part of it that I wouldn’t consider a turn off. The whole concept behind that app is grody.
The Gay-Date-Robber is a married man with four children.
Imagine the multiple impacts his dirty deeds will have on those kids. The bitter lessons they have learned on what some fathers are capable of doing.
Gay “dating” apps make the whole world their highway rest stop men’s room.

This guy had a lot of people fooled. He destroyed a good job that could have expanded and lasted for years. Apparently, before he was a teacher, he was a liar and the kind of thief who threatened with guns, tied people up.

Notice you always see a lone car parked at those highway rest stops away from the others.
The restrooms in some of the larger, major rest stops in Texas were closed many years ago. They had become unmanageable havens for faggotry. And frequent clean-up of the bio-hazard mess left behind was too heavy a budget burden.

When we grew up, they used to call it “rollin’ queers”. It was acceptable in some parts of the country (not to me)..It is still robbery, but in those days, it was assumed that gay folks wouldn’t fight back.
