Ron DeSantis says Jan. 6 wouldn’t have happened if he were President

“If I had been President, none of that would have happened. Obviously, I would have won the election against Joe Biden and we wouldn’t have been in those situations to begin with,” said DeSantis, who was in the middle of his first term as Governor in 2021.

DeSantis also chastised the former President for the decision “to invite all his supporters to D.C., the belly of the beast knowing that it’s a hostile jurisdiction for Republicans.”

Calm down, FRiend. I’m not “saying” anything.

You’re reading combativeness into my post where there was literally none. I was merely acknowledging that while I realized he (de Santis) has a strong majority, I didn’t realize it was a supermajority. I was emphasizing the point of my own ignorance, the super- prefix.

So:

1) thanks for educating me

and

2) no thanks for the pedantic condescension

Yes Florida did lock down for three weeks and the the governor reversed the position. He admitted it was a mistake and he corrected it. Trump can’t even admit Fauci and Wray were bad picks and should have been fired.

Go watch tonight’s Trump snooze fest and then watch RDS from his Townhall Thursday night. Come back and tell you are still supporting Trump.

Disclaimer, I currently support RDS the way I supported Trump in 16’ and 20’. $$$ and votes.

<I currently support RDS the way I supported Trump in 16’ and 20’. $$$ and votes.

I also supported Trump with $s and votes (and campaigning for him) but I have to agree one of the biggest disappointments with Trump was making Faucci a star with all of his kiss up “Tony” talk during lockdown-30 days to stop the spread that Trump allowed to go on for what-a year?

DeSantis would have beat Biden because DeSantis wouldn’t have locked down the country, not paraded Fauci around, and of course he wouldn’t have signed the CARES act, which of course paid for drop boxes, scores of millions of ballots mailed out, NGO money that financed DEM ballot harvesting and probably those pallets of bricks being unloaded in every city during the planned riots.

Trump signed every last bill Pelosi and Schumer put before him, which were eventually his political death warrants. Now his supporters want to claim other candidates would be complicit with Democrats if they were President lol. As you indicated, DeSantis would have easily sidestepped most if not all those pitfalls. Trump has just never grown out of being a Democrat himself, and never will.

Uh, it’s January 6 today, which might have something to do with why he was asked about it?

Trump started encouraging states to consider reopening, as early as the second week of April. But I get it. The “Trump allowed it to go on for what-a-year” is one of those “facts” that are just too good to check - never mind that his authority over what states could do in that regard was minimal.

Because its easy to sign papers passed by those in power in his state and pretend he is so “conservative” and for the people, but who Ron really is is what he chooses to speak when asked these questions.

You’re delusiional if you think a beta male like desantis could ever stand up to pelosi...

ROFL! DeSantis is a decorated war veteran, captain of his college baseball team, and worked his way up from a small town and family. Trump was born with a silver spoon, got several draft deferments for supposed physical weaknesses, and spends most of his time crying about how unfair everything is. He got rolled by Nancy and Chuckie, never vetoed a single bill they brought him, or really even called them out You could make a case he’s actually been doing their bidding based on how everything keeps playing out.

Exactly. The difference in their energy, focus, and determination is quite stark. Trump simply has too many personal issues including what appears to be another failed marriage to measure up to the task.

January 6th should be declared America’s second Independence Day.
Trump should make it a National Holiday, just to rub the liberal’s noses in it when he returns.
Proclaim it throughout the land, and every American illegally incarcerated will be released, compensated and hailed a hero.
We should call it “Ashli Babbitt Day”, and celebrate the day every year with fireworks, songs and festivities.
Build a monument to Ashli’s memory in Washington DC, next to the Lincoln Memorial.

There you go again, making false portrayals and claims when the facts are not evident.

desanctimonious is not some sort of decorated war veteran, in the sense that he was a tier 1, kitted up, door kicker that was under fire all the time.

He was a jag lawyer, and I doubt he saw any combat action, otherwise he would have made a big deal about it when he made his false portray ad where he says he served with the seals, and tried to imply he was a seal.

And as for decorations, many other people who served, says the military hands out participation medals for various actions, and they don’t mean they were received for some actions deserving of recognition of valor

The other stuff about not getting things passed, you can attribute to the entrenched swamp GOPe rino uniparty people like ryan and mcconnell, who had their own agenda and did not support Trump’s.

And if you think desanctimonious would stand up to mcconnel or the uniparty, the uniparty must own desantis, since that’s who funded a large part of his campaign (until he showed what a flop he was, and they switched to haley).

As far as desanctus not being a beta male, just watch the video where he’s cowed by 2 female reporters, and so unnerved, he can’t answer what states he can win...

“Uh, it’s January 6 today, which might have something to do with why he was asked about it?”

In other words, the reporters command his reponses.

Take a look at what the little weasel said:

“DeSantis also chastised the former President for the decision “to invite all his supporters to D.C., the belly of the beast knowing that it’s a hostile jurisdiction for Republicans.””

Such boldness from DeSantis. He prefers Americans tiptoe around to exercise their Constitutional rights.

Attacks on decorated war veterans is exactly what I’d expect from you. At least you tried to steer clear of the fact it was in defense of a draft dodger, but it didn’t work.

DeSantis was clearly talking over your head. When he said jurisdiction, he meant legal jurisdiction. The courts and judges are stacked against Republicans, so if you’re going to go there to cause trouble, you better be prepared, or you’re gonna end up in jail, just as many did. Trump offered them no protection before, or after the event. He led them like lambs to the slaughter.

And I have plenty of standing to speak on this. I led a contingent of Freepers to Tallahassee in 2000 to protest that election. I printed and gave out large sign’s of Registered’s images of Sore Loserman and Kangeroo Court for us to carry around, which the director of the Florida State Museum personally asked me to put in the museum. So I have a hands on history with organized protests of Presidential elections.

But this was a disaster waiting to happen, and why I wanted nothing to do with it, despite still being a strong supporter of Trump at the time. It was clear there was no possible positive outcome, as the electoral votes, along with the number of protest votes,, was already decided. Those votes even went down after the disaster that ensued. It was a pointless sacrifice meant to stroke Trump’s ego, that blew up in his face, that we are all still paying for to this day. And chances are, it’s only about to get worse.

“DeSantis was clearly talking over your head.”

It is impossible for DeSantis to talk over my head. But I will point out that you have your head up your ass, your default position.

“When he said jurisdiction, he meant legal jurisdiction.”

And your point is?

“The courts and judges are stacked against Republicans...”

Do you think you have discovered something that nobody else has?

“...so if you’re going to go there to cause trouble, you better be prepared, or you’re gonna end up in jail, just as many did.”

You totally and wilfully ignore the mountain of evidence that it was not the Trump supporters who went there to cause trouble, the vast majority did not go to the building, and the FBI, we know, was orchestrating the whole thing. You are parroting the MSM/democrat narrative in order to promote the weasel DeSantis.

“Trump offered them no protection before, or after the event.”

You are lying, you are wilfully lying; Trump is on record as requesting 10,000 National Guard troops and was overruled by Nancy Pelosi and the mayor of D C.

“He led them like lambs to the slaughter.”

Oh, wow!!!! So dramatic!!!!

Again, you are lying, a wilful vile liar; the FBI and government implants led them into the building, not Trump, opened the doors, escorted them down the hallways, as per the security videos.

As time marches on, and it will be soon, DeSantis will tuck his tail and go back to Florida and we won’t have to put up with him and insufferable Trump deranged idiots like you.

Do you really think you are a golden eagle? Should change to to something with “vulture” in it.
