Three crew were treated on base for minor injuries and sent home. One remains in a local hospital with non-life-threatening injuries.

Weather conditions were freezing with very poor visibility. There have been a lot of Canadian geese flying around the base over the past few days, a bird strike seems plausible.

Awesome news on the crew survival. Limb flailing and cervical spine injuries are most likely scenarios. I'll bet they are a little shorter after ejection but all considered...great news!!
