“was completely unpredicted and it’s completely unprecedented and nobody thought a sanctuary city would mean what it means.”

It should hurt to be so stupid.

The deciding vote on the ridiculous CAF fuel efficiency standards was the rep from the Detroit district. She said that the (instantaneous) fuel efficiency monitor on her Riviera often said 38mpg and she thought, “We’re so close to it (40mpg) why don’t we just go for it?” We have the mind-numbingly stupid making laws the rest of us have to suffer for.

Chicago Alderman: We Invited Migrants by Being a Sanctuary,
but ‘Nobody’ Thought It Would Lead to the Current Situation.

With that kind of reasoning, you can understand why he resorted
to getting elective office.................probably cant get a real job.
