New York City Mayor Eric Adams on Thursday announced a lawsuit against more than a dozen charter bus and transportation companies involved in busing migrants to New York City, seeking hundreds of millions of dollars for the care of migrants in the self-described "sanctuary" city.

"New York City has and will always do our part to manage this humanitarian crisis, but we cannot bear the costs of reckless political ploys from the state of Texas alone," Adams said in a statement . "Today, we are taking legal action against 17 companies that have taken part in Texas Governor Abbott’s scheme to transport tens of thousands of migrants to New York City in an attempt to overwhelm our social services system."

The lawsuit argues that the companies have violated New York state law by not paying for the cost of caring for migrants

So what he is saying is Airlines, railroads, rental car agencies as well as buses are liable for caring for the migrants that come to NYC? Wonder when all transportation to and from the city will be cut off?

Notice how Adams isn’t taking action against Biden who is responsible for the vast majority of illegals being trafficked to NYC?

So, if I take a Greyhound to visit my relatives, they should pay for the food and housing?

"Notice how Adams isn’t taking action against Biden who is responsible for the vast majority of illegals being trafficked to NYC?"

Joe himself is flying illegals all over the country, without any passports or ID's, in violation of the law. So when can we expect Adams to sue Joe for that?

Take it up with that nasty Biden, dumbass. We here in Texas sure as heck can’t bear all of the cost associated with his unconstitutional actions. Our state government officials have tried and have been rebuffed.

Your turn.

Hey moron, once they are in Texas, according to the left, they are now citizens and entitled to all rights and privileges there of.
Are you saying US citizens can't move to your state.
Because to ask persons on a bus if they are here legally and US Citizens is against the law.

Last I checked, freedom of assembly is a protected 1st amendment right.

Adams can't sue businesses that freely transport people exercising their Constitutional right of association.

A bus is responsible for mass illegals; also, a gun is responsible for murder.

Got it.
