Funny how they project. Nazis WERE leftists. By their very name they are leftists. The American Left has painted Nazis as a right-winged menace. Nothing could be further from the truth. All the evil in the world comes from the left, but leftists must present themselves as the righter of past wrongs.
Actually the term is “Fascists”. Nazi stands for “National Socialist”, so they avoided using Nazi, because it would imply that they were fellow socialists.
Of course. It is what they do. It is instructive to see them tie themselves in knots to portray the Nazis as Right-wing, when they were right next to the Communists (Leftists) on the scale of tyranny with nearly exactly the same characteristics.
