Completely agree that we need an American Milei, not an American Pinochet as some on here have been arguing for. Do you happen to have an example or two of the Pinochet thing? I've been seeing references on X/Twitter to people promoting a fascist-style (or Franco-style) conservatism, and James Lindsay says he's worried about this trend, but I haven't actually seen anyone take that sort of stance.

You simply cannot tell when someone is employing dark humor.
I would have thought that my exchange will Billthedrill would have clued you in.
One thing that is NOT dark humor, is that there ARE examples of torture in America these days. The behavior of the authorities as regards the J6 prisoners cannot be described as anything less than torture.
