Israel has been looking to others to solve all their problem since its very inception.
* Israel demanded military aid during the 1973 Yom Kippor War. Golda Meir threatened going nuclear unless Nixon provided the aid.
* In the 1990s, when over a million Soviet Jews moved to Israel, Israel demanded (and got) additional U.S. aid to build housing for them.
* Israel lobbied and pressured the U.S. to take out Saddam in 2003, which we did to great detriment to us.
* Israel has been pressuring the U.S. to take out Iran for them.
Israel has a way of shifting its problems onto its "friends and allies."
Christian Dispensationalists claim that God blesses nations that bless Israel. But despite decades of blessing Israel, things have only worsened for the U.S., by every metric. I sure hope those blessings show up soon.
Great Britain, Germany, and apartheid South Africa (which provided Israel with the uranium to build its nuke) have all mightily blessed Israel for decades. They also could sure use some blessings, because things have only worsened for them (especially for those white Afrikaners).
“Israel has been pressuring the U.S. to take out Iran for them.”
And that is BAD, how?
[The non-Persian Mullahs need to go. The Persians, not so much]
We’ve given at least $100 billion to the Israelis over the decade. If they can’t stand on their own by now then the hell with them.
