The problem is that we have a dysfunctional Unites Nations.
Their rules ends up actually helping terrorist organisations like Iran/Kremlin/Hamas.
Thus, Russia can blatantly abuse its super-power status as it attacks, invades, plunders, murders citizens and is annexing tiny sovereign nations allied to America and the West. It uses its VETO-Power at the UN, and its massive stockpiles of nuclear weapons as a permanent threat giving them “the right” to bully any small country they can put their hands on.
The Kremlinists are the NeoSoviets of the planet. 40% of Russias economy / budget is now oriented towards war against the West.
Ukraine is just a small detail of the big picture. Russia wants more, much more.
The NeoSoviet Union is back, and they pushed their Iran/Hamas allies to attack yet another US ally : Israel. A classic deflection tactic to force the West’s attention elsewhere than solely on Ukraine. Russia succeeded pretty well with this tactic.
