Capitalism in some form is the most efficient way to do that.

I agree and I lump that in with my statement that Christianity (rationalism) is the root of the advancement of knowledge.

One of the tenets of Christianity is that of right of being secure in you possessions. No one has the right to dispossess you of your possessions and the just rule of law.

I have talked to folks who visited relatives in small cities in Nigeria. They say that everyone has to hide any sign of wealth for fear of robbery—both by locals, rebels and the government.

Nigeria being a majority Muslim country; freedom is a foreign concept.

Christians are under constant attack in Nigeria as is freedom of thought and action.

Nigeria is a good argument for colonialism. Under colonial rule Nigeria was safer and much more free.

“Freedom” is only part of the issue.

It is private property itself that is alien to the culture.
