Linus ... that’s sweet :-)
Last year this time, I was in the hospital with my 100 yo dad, reading him the Christmas story out of the Bible. He passed away Jan. 9.
Tonight, I went to a Christmas Eve service and cried all the way through the first hymn, thinking about last year this time with dad. Mom & I attended the service at a small country church ... they have a box of tissues in both ends of every pew ... mom was making use of one box & I was using the other. Dad was a man of strong faith and while I miss him so much, I wouldn’t wish him back in this world because he’s safe in his Shepherd’s arms, in the presence of God’s love this Christmas & forever.
