Why does the US have to be the policeman of the world? Let the UN go and blockade shipment in and out of Yemen until the Houthis stop pillaging shipping. The US should stay out of this Houthi entanglement, other than blasting missiles in the sky headed towards Israel.

So why does the USA bother listening to or participating in UN mandated policies? If they have no naval military, then why should we bother with the UN? Why should our tax dollars and navy be used to facilitate commercial shipments? If US flagged ships are endangered by Houthis, then the US should shell Yemen, without caring if the UN yells at us to stop.
