I don’t think the right regains power. I am not sure there has been a “right” for quite a while.
What is does is create precedent for the hard left to use against the left. Then the harder left to use against the hard left. We are on a path that only goes left. Those that are on the left or harder left are going to discover that the “wins” they are celebrating now will be used against them to go further left than they want.
