The Colorado Supreme Court’s decision to ban former President Trump from the state’s primary ballot undermines a “bedrock principle” of American democracy, one of the court’s Democrat-appointed justices wrote in a fiery dissent.
Justices Carlos Samour, Maria Berkenkotter and Chief Justice Brian D. Boatright all dissented, but Samour was particularly critical of the 4-3 ruling. Samour and Boatright were each appointed by Democratic former Gov. John Hickenlooper, while Berkenkotter was appointed by current Gov. Jared Polis, also a Democrat.
“The decision to bar former President Donald J. Trump — by all accounts the current leading Republican presidential candidate (and reportedly the current leading overall presidential candidate) — from Colorado’s presidential primary ballot flies in the face of the due process doctrine,” Samour wrote.

My first impression of your idea was that it is ridiculous. I didn’t even realize that RFK Jr was running as an independent. He may turn out to have a big role in next year’s election.
Interesting times.
Love it!!
"We had to interfere in the election to save free elections" -CO supreme court
I don’t think they are worried about what goes around comes around.
The demonrats are planning that if you are not part of “THE CLUB” you will NEVER get elected in this country whether you are a demonrat or a pubbie.
Eastman is being subjected to removal of his bar card for the act of representing a client, relying on an unconventional Constitutional interpretation. Pretty clearly Tribe, Luttig, the advocacy groups, and these judges have ALL engaged in the identical act of novel Constitutional interpretation. Bar certification for EACH should likewise be similarly imperiled.
Is Colorado early enough in the Presidential Dem primaries to have its result effect other state primaries for Dems?
Do ya think?
Not one person on that horrible show even blinked at the idea that a small state 'supreme' court could remove the rights of citizen to vote for the person of their choice.
And the rational?
Nothing more than 'polls show most people think Trump broke the law'.
Here's a flash - most citizens think Biden broke the law too. Can the Florida Supreme Court take Biden's name off ballots? And Harris's ?If not, why not?
“Gov. John Hickenlooper”
What’s in a name? LOL.
There eventually will be an American version of the “Enabling Act”.
I added another clip so others can see the insanity

Liberals destroyed California so thousands moved to Colorado and now they’ve destroyed that state too.
Liberals destroy everything they touch.
Don’t subscribe to you resignation Desantis support? This is patently illegal and is continuation of lawfare...unless you have TDS you can’t see the absurdity of this construing the law to fit an agenda...like using Rico laws to prosecute Trump in GA.
.
EXCELLENT!
Thank you for updatem
An interpretation? Assumed to have? Or has it ever been tested/adjusted one way or another?
The ruling in Colorado against President Trump last night will backfire even more than what the indictments and arrests have.
Democrats, Libertarians, and Independents are now uniting around President Trump following this unprecedented act of ELECTION INTERFERENCE.
Below is an example of the shift that is already taking place.
People are OUTRAGED! #Trump2024
