So if Trump is a moderate according to the NYT, what does that make the people who sabotaged his presidency, or pulled out all the stops to cheat in 2020, or conduct bogus lawfare to prevent him from running again?
Or using the apparati of the State to persecute/prosecute those who support Trump's policy?

It's an op-ed, not the NYT editorial position.
Unlike some, they do print opposing views they deem "responsible".
