We had a kid who refused to stop bitching after he got to the ship. This was in 1992. Illustrates one of the advantages of an all-volunteer force: You can tell a whiny birdbrain like that "STFU. You're here because you chose to be here." He didn't STFU, so he got the boot. Can't do that with draftees.
