Alberta, about half the time I don’t agree with you but I do on this one.
I hope I’m wrong but reportedly she was once a democrat.
If she’s an “HONEST” Republican, and there are “A FEW”, then I support her.
RE: I hope I’m wrong but reportedly she was once a democrat.
Consider Donald Trump:
1987: Registered as a Republican in Manhattan.
1999: Switched to the Independence Party of New York.
2001: Changed his affiliation to the Democratic Party.
2009: Switched back to the Republican Party.
2011: Registered as no party affiliation (independent).
2012: Returned to the Republican Party again.
It’s important to note that Trump’s political positions have also evolved over time. While he was a Democrat, he often expressed views that aligned more with the Republican Party on certain issues. For example, in a 2004 interview, he said, “In many cases, I probably identify more as Democrat,” but he also criticized the Republican Party and expressed support for some Democratic policies.
So, for me, the issue is not where she was registered before, but her ideas NOW!
She is currently a Nassau county legislator, let’s look at her CURRENT legislative record instead.
