Six Los Angeles County Starbucks stores may soon reopen after the National Labor Relations Board said the coffee franchise closed about two dozen locations to halt union momentum.
As reported in the New York Times, a regional NLRB office determined that 23 U.S. stores were closed “because its employees engaged in union activities or to discourage employees from doing so.” At least seven of those stores had unionized, the Times added, though the company said none of the Los Angeles locations were unionized.

The union is probably angling for a big $ettlement.
Probably not but this regime has no problem changing laws to do whatever they want.
Forcing an owner to do business against their will is called.....
slavery.
This one will go to the Supreme Court.
I saw this story yesterday and couldn’t believe it. I bet you all thought Involuntary Servitude was outlawed in this country, didn’t you?
Expect more and more of this.
“A latte desert?”
Directive 10-289 is here.
Apparently the feds do whatever they feel like doing. Who has the money to fight them in court? Of course you could do like the democommies do and simply ignore court/congressional orders. 🤔
Starbucks should have done like Microsoft did EVERYONE is a temp worker.
lulllzzzz.....Los Federales useless eaters are trying to look like they do some actual work. You know these a-holes are sitting on their ample asses at home “working” remotely. Anyways it’s nice to see these shirkers harassing the Starbucks libs and commies. If you want a communist inspired (pumpkin spice perhaps?) latte, then Starbucks is your place!
These Federale shirkers have a tough day. Their daily difficult decision is to decide which takeout-delivery menu to pick out of their stack. Mexican? Mediterranean? Thai? Szechuan? Chipotle? Decisions decisions decisions.
$$$ union want $$$
“start forcing companies to keep their ghetto stores open.
Expect more and more of this.”
The evasion tactics will be hilarious.
The main problem is that it will cost companies money to hire top notch lawyers to weasel out of the requirements—tactics like bankruptcy, spinoffs of subsidiaries who then declare bankruptcy, merger and acquisition games and endless legal appeals will all be tools in the toolkit.
Unless we’re talking about baking cakes for homosexuals.

You know your society is in decline when “Starbucks Employee” are seen as a legitimate occupation for unionization.
The CONSTITUTION has given the feds NO AUTHORITY to interfere with private enterprise or individuals and, thus, THE FEDS ARE ILLEGALLY INTERFERING WITH STARBUCKS’ FREE BUSINESS DECISIONS!!!
Well, Kalifornika is a Marxist Nationalist run state.
Karl, Joseph, and Vladimir would be proud.
Chains close underperforming assets daily. If Sbucks has their books in order, and there are no emails uncovered stating “we have to close these union stores”, it should be a non case for the Feds.
Considering starsucks is Uber woke I find this a little humorous.......having said that, yes is is an unbelievable draconian overreach by the federal government but Considering whose running things I’m surprised it took this long.
