This is the clearest view of the burn area that I have seen.
It has taken government 4 months to remove hazardous waste in the rubble. Batteries, propane tanks, etc.
Still dumping billions into Ukraine. This is pathetic.
Thank you for posting this video. The burn area is breathtakingly vast. Found myself searching for green plant life—as signs of hope. Some of the palm trees were surprisingly resilient. Wonderful to see green peeping out from the banyan tree. Such a long road to recovery ahead.
Also to try and match remains with missing.
They never mention the number of children.
Doubt they ever will.
They are saying in some reports there are only 4 unaccounted for. I doubt that too.
Small home, wooden frame, high replacement cost. This is a developer’s wet dream.
The local government seems to feel the same way. HI is the highest priced real estate.
So, here we are.
Thank you. I agree about the green new plant life.
Nature is wonderful.
Pathetic Indeed.
We need to force a truce and settlement between Ukraine and Russia.
Neither will happen, the people behind this are the EU members.
More of those foreign entanglements that founders were warned about.
would like to see aerial footage of the fires that swept canada this past year- that fire was massive too-
I suspect a largish number of the "missing" children never existed anywhere but on paper.
The schools get federal money for every child in a classroom seat. I wonder how many were actually ever there?
From what I understand, there are quite a large number of undocumented Filipinos that are unaccounted for.
Not sure.
I am convinced that local gov is not going to ever tell how many children were in fact incinerated.
The fraud thing? Possibly some, but not the early number reported missing from school rolls in the district.
Does not surprise me. Fed’s silenced that quickly.
I do not believe that was intended to be a terrorist act. I think that covers a failed attempt at someone.
I don’t believe one person did that mass murder.
Yes, and right here in Texas we have extensive fires in drought conditions.
Regarding Las Vegas, I remember the first videos of gunshots coming from a few different areas. I don’t know.
Regarding Maui, doubt it was DEW( maybe arson and nature?) and have friends who survived California’s Paradise fire who lost everything. I think it was a horrid tragedy and no one can prepare for that but government stepping in and messing stuff up tells me what Reagan said about the nine most ominous words,We’re from the government and we’re here to help.
Apparently no one in power cares about undocumented aliens.
That bodes ill for the members of the recent/current tsunami at our borders.
I have a number of notes on the Las Vegas shooting. One of which suggests involvement by foreign elements to assassinate a foreign official, that failed. And to cover an exist from the attempt, they killed bystanders to distract the departure.
Not sure how true that was.
The Lahaina fire, was a total FUBAR reaction by local officials.
But not being honest about the number of lives lost, is a criminal act.
It is very unlikely that people of modest means will requild on their existing lot. So it is likely that large developers will step in and take advantage of the disaster.
There were suspicious agents involved in the immediate wake of the fire. Fed’s no doubt, acting really stupid. CYA
The whole Las Vegas thing is glaring. It was way too silent after. Lotta money to shut a lot of mouths and government NDA’s?
We visited Lahaina every time we were in Maui. We even stayed a few nights at a condo in Lahaina. We ate often at Front Street restaurants, and once biked north 5+ miles from Boss Hogg’s. In the winter, I still wear warm non-Hawaii pants I picked up at the Lahaina Outlet Mall. Such incredible and sad destruction!
