Two Chicago suburbs rejected busloads of immigrants that arrived from El Paso, Texas, over the past week as the city and Illinois as a whole continue to face an influx of illegal immigrants from the southern border.
Several buses arrived at the Metra stations in Cicero, Illinois, and Rosemont, Illinois, near the O'Hare International Airport's remote parking area, according to the Chicago Tribune. Rosemont police allowed the immigrants to get off the bus if there was someone picking them up, but officers threatened to impound the bus and arrest the driver for endangering the passengers if he let them out, Mayor Brad Stephens said.
This is the latest display of suburbs resisting the increase of illegal immigrants trickling into towns from Chicago, where almost 26,000 immigrants have arrived since August. With most of them homeless, the immigrants have taken shelter at police stations and the airport.
Suburbs such as Schaumburg, Illinois, and Elk Grove Village, Illinois, have passed ordinances preventing illegal immigrants from being housed in hotels. Elk Grove officials also passed an ordinance preventing immigrants from residing in the village without a doctor's certification that they don't carry infectious diseases such as malaria and tuberculosis. The village has blocked its many factories and shopping centers from housing immigrants, bought a hotel that immigrants were staying in, and demolished it, according to the local newspaper.

I didn’t see a mention of who paid for the buses or tickets on them. Did the governor of Texas send them or was it the federales or one of their per NGOs doing it? I bet the second because if Texas had done it the news would have been blaming Governor Abbott.

Isn’t Texas busing them? (For which I don’t blame them). One of my daughters lives in a tiny village Northwest of Chicago. She has never been political one way or another, though if pressed, she probably would previously have claimed to be democrat, but not anymore. Taxes, alone, have changed that. She is trapped in Illinois by circumstances beyond her control, and cannot wait to be able to leave. I pray for the safety of her and her family.
Just go to this link, set the year and state in your search bar, right click on Cook County of Illinois (easily identified because of its dark red Commie red color in the northeast corner) and you get a map of the county with all the attendant parts to see the Cook County 'burbs individually.

Having grown up nearby (Palatine Township) those statistics are sad. Northwest suburbs used to be full of proud Republicans, counterbalancing the Democrat stranglehold on Chicago.
But I was happy to see that the linked map had the colors correct; red for Democrat and blue for Republican.
These invading leeches are not “immigrants.”
These suburbanites need to understand that these illegals are their govt-issued, pre-ordained replacements...just a matter of time.

Why would you think it was worth preserving, it housed illegals?

Illinois is about 95%-97% red geographically and it’s a big state.
