OZ was by far the absolute worst candidate I’d ever seen attempting to win a statewide race as a Republican in PA… yet the right wing buffoons sold him as a great candidate.

I have friends in a rural southeast Pennsylvania town. When I visited them in 2016 and again in 2020, there were Trump signs everywhere. There were very few Democrat candidate signs. No surprise there.
But in 2022, the Fetterman signs outnumbered the Oz signs by maybe 4 to 1. Yes, I was surprised. And if the RNC had any sense at all, they would take a lesson from that.
Lynn Swan was significantly worse and I’m certain that he is not alone in recent times.
Oil/gas Toomey was abt as easy to relate to as an marble counter top.
How far back do we have to go to find a statewide GOP winner that fits this imaginary perfect candidate?
