Let the states decide their own abortion laws sounds like the Constitution to me.
Some states don’t want an infant body count in their records.
Good for them.
This was bound to develop, as pro abortion states become magnets for women seeking to end pregnancies. Not unexpected.
In other words, the increase in interstate travel shows that it is still possible to get an abortion. You just may need to travel a bit to get it.
There were even newspaper stories about it.

Yeah, whats the big deal.
The forces behind this drama see an election coming up and the need to stage something I guess that’s what’s going on.
The Dobbs decision a good one that the Supreme Court has been given hell over.
El Rushbo would be defending them from all this “ethics” crap that’s been thrown on them to intimidate the court.
Now do the number of times people had to leave their state to gamble at a casino!
And then how many times have people had to leave their state to engage in LEGAL prostitution?
Come on, let’s keep this list growing. Keep adding on the many things that one state allows, but another state does not...you know, how the Constitution was written (50 “petri dishes of competing ideas” that is what I was taught)!
It’s called “Federalism”.
Reflection?
The impact of the state law on abortion change was large and happened quickly.
Nearly 10,000 more babies born in nine months under Texas’ restrictive abortion law, study finds (Jun 30, 2023)
SCOTUS ruled that law regulating abortion was a matter for the states
Some states favor abortion.
It is therefore an expectation that women who resist childbirth must travel to a state where abortion is permitted
QED
I just read where the TX gal who was wanting an abortion, of her disabled/deformed (?) baby she’s carrying, and, was denied one, in TX ... has fled to another state, for said abortion.
Hopefully she’ll stay there.
Fled??
Obviously they’d be rotten parents, anyway.
I know, right....pretty sure that’s the word the article used.
I’ll have to try to find it.
She’s on the run 🙃
>Come on, let’s keep this list growing.<
One actual, enumerated right that can’t be on that list is buying a handgun out of state. Unenumerated rights appear more equal than enumerated rights.
On the bright side it will be harder for a scumbag to get an abortion for the underage girl he knocked up. He can’t just drop her off at the neighborhood abortion mill with cab fare.
EC
When MO closed down the last abortion center in StL abortionist wailed about the burden women faced to end their pregnancies. In reality a 10 minute drive to Illinois.
