LOL...I do the same thing with scammers who call my phone. I string them along as long as I can. My thinking is if they are on the phone with me screwing with them, they aren’t ripping off some gullible person elsewhere.
The most satisfying thing of all is seeing just how pissed off they are knowing I turned the tables on them.

My most fun scam call was stringing along some Indian guy — from Microsoft, of course.
I said I was doing every step he told me, and after each one, he’d ask, “What do you see?”
I’d respond “correctly”. Then I got tired so when asked me, “Now what do you see?”
“I see the Virgin Mary.”
“You see the WURJUN MARY?!”
