Tonight is the fourth 2024 Republican presidential debate now featuring Governor Ron DeSantis, Governor Chris Christie, Governor Nikki Haley, and Vivek Ramaswamy. Tonight’s debate is held at the University of Alabama in Tuscaloosa. The moderators will be Megyn Kelly, a former Fox News host; Eliana Johnson, the editor in chief of The Free Beacon; and Elizabeth Vargas, a NewsNation anchor.
Same here. All the naysayers missed a good debate tonight. Whether or not they support anyone onstage. It was well worth watching.
I watched the Trump Town Hall with Hannity last night, too. It was a waste of my time. Didn't learn anything new, and Trump barely got a chance to speak. Hannity bloviated through most of it, and wasted everybody's time.
On the flip side, amazingly, I thought Hannity did a decent job moderating the DeSantis - Greasy Gavin Newsom debate. Go figure.

Personally I wouldn't waste my time watching last night's Trump Town Hall with Sean Hannity. Wish I could get that hour of my life back. It wasn't Trump's fault - it was Sean Hannity's. Sean wasted SO much time bloviating about "stuff", Trump didn't have much time to speak. What I did hear from Trump was nothing new.
And I thought the candidate was supposed to answer questions from the audience in a town hall. That didn't happen.

I don't know what you will actually learn by reading the comments on this thread. Many of the comments were about root canals, how awesome Trump is, heart emojis and posts about how anyone not supporting Trump 110% had better not show up on the thread.

As to how people write about other FReepers not supporting Trump....well I take Jim’s position....let the best man win. There’s currently no guarantee Trumps not going to be prevented from being elected so they need to have a second choice in mind..... I put nothing past those opposing Trump to keep him from the Presidency. ...so we have to see.

Well when it starts to annoy you too much just step away for a few hours - I do that all the time with the news cycles here and abroad when their reporting goes off the deep end.

DeSantis made a huge point when he called for student loans to be backed by universities and NOT taxpayers Said.... a ‘truck driver’ should not pay for someone else to get a ‘gender studies’ to degree!....

Totally agree! And stupid Chris Cuomo on the NewsNation post-debate panel said something like he had never heard anything like this before. D-uh! That’s been discussed by people like Mike Rowe (Discovery Channel), Ron DeSantis, and many other conservatives on Fox News for years now.

I tuned in long enough to see who the moderators are and then had to change the channel before it made me retch.
These pathetic “debates” should all be canceled.
