I suppose if one thinks 1-2% is a “significant number”, this is a true statement.
I did not mean to judge death camp victims who were helpless and might have been promised their children would be saved. But 1-2% might be a low estimate among the number of living population of camps at certain times, but accurate WRT historical totals. Nazi rulers thought of some as more useful than others.
