Reminder why it is a fool’s errand for MAGA to align with unions. Support american workers, american manufacturing, but never unions.

Bingo! The unions screw the workers just as they do the American people. Greedy POS. “Unions” are the building blocks of communism. Their favorite word, “solidarity” is the number one word in all communist countries.

Your average union leader is a corrupt leftist. That will not change.
But the average union worker pretty much mirrors society as a whole. There are many conservative union guys. Reagan was able to reach them. And to an extent, Trump was too.

So a good strategy would be to bypass the union leaders, and appeal directly to the union workers. Don’t bash the union guys (although they often need bashing). Don’t pander to them. Instead work to get their votes.

Wrong. MAGA populists should seek out, recruit, and support union leaders who are sympathetic to MAGA. Unions and union leaders should not be lazily conceded to the Left.

Granted, government workers unions are probably a lost cause
