AI is phony. AI is software. Software can only repeat what is data imprinted. AI is a lie.

Gee. Who to believe. Scientists who are actually working on AI or closed-minded Freepers who know nothing about it.
I am conflicted.
BTW, I wonder if closed-minded Freepers realize that critical thinking and the scientific method are both impossible without open-mindedness.

Yay! Agreed. There is no such thing as artificial intelligence. Garbage in/Garbage out is still the rule. Perhaps groups like the WEF just want something to blame when some thing their experimenting on goes terribly wrong in the lab.
This continual practice of outsourcing, everything to India for IT need scapegoat as well when things go wrong in tech. AI about as real as climate change.

That's so five years ago. Current AI is designed like the neural nodes in an animal brain, which improves through trial and error, rewards, and "reinforcement learning." It's the same process as your dog learning that he can earn a treat if he sits when told. A programmer did not program Alpha Zero to play perfect chess, Alpha Zero taught itself how to play perfect chess.
