My husband and I recently visited Los Angeles a few times (visiting family there) and saw just about everything locked up inside many stores, but LA is a major city of course. Is the great California store lock-up going on all over the state?
Hubby left California (SF Bay Area) back in the mid-1980s. He has zero interest in going back.
I am outside of Los Angeles - in a nice suburb, but things are certainly locked up around here. I suspect the thieves particularly target areas like mine - I notice stores are starting to close a lot earlier now - and open later. Some have gone to one entrance in and out and closed the other doors.
I also have immediate family in San Francisco so I am there a lot - entire aisles of supermarkets are behind plexiglass and under lock and key.
