Too much talking over each other.

I miss William F Buckley’s Firing Line where intelligent people with diametrically opposite views were able to debate without interrupting each other.

*******

gagline,

I had another commitment & missed the debate.

Were the interruptions worse than the first Trump vs Biden debate in 2020?

We all miss civilized debates like that, but those days are long gone. There really wasn't that much crosstalk during tonight's debate. The worst of it came near the end of the debate.

Many, many debates in recent years were far worse, as far as the candidates talking over each other.
