If you read history about Jewish expulsions….many occurred from European countries. Departing was not always by choice.
The whole point of early Zionism was convincing Jews to leave Europe to go to Palestine.
Of course, there were instances where they were expelled from one country or another but they weren’t forced to go to Palestine. They went there because they thought it was a better option than Europe.
More occurred in Jordan, Morocco, Syria, Egypt, Iran, Iraq, etc.
A plurality of the Jewish population of Israel are Sephardic Jews ethnically cleansed from the very countries who complain the loudest about Jews in Israel.
