I understand that Jews have been expelled from countries throughout history.

The article that I am referring to explicitly references, IN THE TITLE, the treatment of Jews in Palestine in the MID-19TH CENTURY.

That is what I was comparing to the treatment of Jews by the Europeans....the treatment by the Arabs in Palestine.

The Jews started Zionism, left Europe and began going to Palestine during a period of time that the author claims was terrible for them in Palestine. Hence my comment about how much worse it must have been in Europe.

None of the information in the link you provided indicated that they were forced out of one country and INTO Palestine.

I don’t know what your point is.
