I just watched a YouTube where some group that told the truth about the attacker was called out by an Irish journalist for stating the truth. Her argument was that since it was a volatile situation, telling the truth was dangerous and unhelpful and the correct response was to say nothing of the attacker’s background. During the back and forth, it was claimed that he had not worked a day in the 20 years he lived in Ireland.

The message was and is that importing the third world into Ireland is the right thing to do and any objections by the native Irish is racist, islamophobic, right-wing and should be punished by the force of the new laws proposed by the government.
