I see no reason why he should. It’s not a state funeral. It’s a relative of a former president. She never held any office. Also I have never seen the slightest kindness offered by Carter or his wife or any past president to Trump.
They exclude him all they can.
No obligation and dumb for him to go to such events. Good for him.
