It should be a state issue, and it is now. But the cost of that was losing 90% of the under 40 female (or so) and that’s just how it is.

Holy rollers think it was worth it, I do not.

It should be a state issue, and it is now.

Beg to greatly disagree with your opinion, but this issue f abortion was not, up to the point of the misconstuing of the Roe v. Wade issue, which broke the promise to the human being the unalienable right, proclaimed by the Declaration of Independence, to an individual's state of physical life, liberty, and the freedom to pursuit one's happiness; all being possessed by all human law-biding citizens of the governments unified to formulate, apply, and enforce the policies of a peaceable nation of states.

What Roe v. Wade decision did was to remove the pre-born infants from the status of its right to life after conception. negating that sense of utter respect, and place it under the status of death if so decided by its host mother; which state is exactly the same as that of the slaves treated as chattels prior to their emancipation. This was not, and should not ever be permitted under the Constitution, not evading moral accountability by the federal government by delegating it to the states individually to infringe on the rights of the pre-born infant.

So far, SCOTUS has merely escaped their responsibility to resume and articulate the federal government's duty to forbid abortion wherever in this nation or occupied territories that it touches, no excuse accepted except when the host mother's life is medically surely endangered, as before.

To reassign this to and state, giving them the option to resume abortion, is rationally and ethically unsupportable, if one wants the nation as a whole to be the agent of equality of personal freedom for which our Founders gave their lives and fortunes, for the first time in history, to attain as a nation, and with effective force to surely maintain.

Give it to the states?

NO!
