This kinda makes Lt. Columbo look like an incompetent boob. It always took him week or more to solve a crime.

Actually, in all fairness, Lt. Columbo only took about 43 minutes (accounting for commercials and the conclusion three minutes before the top of the hour) to solve his cases.
