The Republican candidates hoping for that don’t seem to have very much upstairs, as there is NO WAY that they can win in November without Trump voters, and Trump voters are not about to give any Trump-hater their vote.
And so, of the declared candidates, only Vivek is viable in November, 2024. Perhaps someone else will pop up, but I haven’t seen any sign of it yet.
